Lagundo/Algund in South Tyrol

The typical South Tyrolean village of Lagundo (Algund in German) lies on the southern edge of the Natural Park Tessa Group in a sunny position west of Merano. It benefits from the proverbially mild climate of this famous health resort. A look around at the landscape will make you realize how beautiful it is to spend you holidays here: the deep green of the orchards along the softly sloping hills, the shady green of the woods in the background, the green of the rows of vines clinging to the hills.

Lagundo is the perfect location for wonderful hikes and trekking tours in the Alps. Miles of varied footpaths just outside our front door will take visitors to breathtaking alpine scenery. We can recommend strenuous walks and gentle strolls through the woodlands and to the summits of the Natural Park Tessa.
